Amber Kay Miller, E-RYT-200, IWLC
Amber is an experienced yoga teacher with over 1,000 teaching hours (E-RYT-200). Battling her old foes—chronic migraines and chronic fatigue from the Epstein-Barr virus—she found relief through yoga, meditation, and integrative medicine and became a Corporate refugee. Amber is completing her 300 hour advanced yoga therapeutics training and pursuing her masters in clinical mental health counseling. Amber is passionate about teaching yoga classes that she enjoys taking and that keep her migraines at bay; slow flow with a focus on breath, yin, deep stretch, restorative, and meditation. At 6'3'' she values yoga props and loves to teach accessible yoga and chair yoga. In the summer you can find Amber playing outside and in the water teaching stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga and water aerobics. Amber is passionate about community and helping everyone take steps to live the lives they imagine.
Amber was born in Lorain, OH and now lives in Mooresville, NC with Dr. Troy and their three spoiled dogs. She owns Your Neighborhood Dog Walker, dabbles in blogging, and is a retired basketball player and triathlete. Amber has an infectious laugh and loves to let her inner child come out to play at costume contests, game nights, and day to day life. She is pro-naps and has been known to pack newspapers and plastic in her bag to take home to recycle. When she isn’t in the yoga studio (land or water) or chopping vegetables, you can find her outdoors walking a dog or two, hiking, curled up in a hammock with a good book, or traveling.
